Professional Aromatherapy Diploma – Including massage
We hope our courses have been set so that you may learn in the most convenient way that fits your lifestyle and commitments.
Our Professional Organic Aromatherapy Qualification contains five modules, three aromatherapy theory modules, one business module and one practical massage module.
What you will achieve from our course
The course is taught to a high level of education and meets the National Occupational Standards, and the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists approves our school. The IFPA is one of the world’s largest professional Aromatherapy practitioner organisations, an authority in the field of Complementary Medicine with a strong UK membership.
On successful completion of the course, including the practical and theory examination, you will be eligible to join the IFPA as a practising full member, qualified to work as a Clinical Aromatherapist Practitioner in a beauty or natural therapy clinic, or we will equip you to set up your own business.
Aromatherapy & Holistic therapies are fast-growing complementary therapies, making this an ideal time to qualify. With the growing interest in the world for well-being and self-care, there is a need for therapists with high education and qualifications to be able to work safely with clients when it comes to essential oils. We want to offer accurate and safe information to support clients on their health and well-being journey.
Prerequisites & Payment Plan
No previous background in Aromatherapy or massage is required.
For those interested, it is possible to study Aromatherapy without the massage element of the course (please see our Clinical Essential Oil Practitioner diploma course).
Suppose you are looking to progress with your studies toward a professional qualification. In that case, the IFPA requires that students also be qualified in Anatomy & Physiology to a minimum of level three. We offer this course, which can be taken simultaneously with full tutor support. Our A&P course can be found here.
The IFPA need to see proof of any existing A&P qualification to confirm you are exempt from A&P training to award you the Aromatherapy Diploma.
The courses must be paid for at the time of booking. We offer an interest free payment plan, to utilise this, a deposit of £250 is required followed by 12 equal monthly payments for the remaining balance.
Products are not included, although we offer student discounts on all essential oils, carriers, hydrolats, and bases. A range of blended products and kits to support your learning can be bought directly from trusted essential oil suppliers who offer our students discounts on their purchases. Students will need to budget for their ingredients and equipment. We do offer a start kit of Well School essential oils in our shop here.
Fees are non-refundable, although you may be able to transfer to another date if you provide a good reason for not being able to attend a previously confirmed date for any in-house training.
If The Well School cancels or delays a course, the Well School will give a full refund for any course and a partial refund if a course has started if a suitable alternative date cannot be agreed upon.
