Professional Aromatherapy Diploma – Upgrade Course
The IFPA believe that education is key to the future and the credibility of this wonderful therapy. Students who embark on an IFPA accredited course can be confident that they are studying a course that goes beyond the National Training Standards. This recognised qualification will allow you to seek employment within healthcare organisations, recognition with private health insurance companies and apply for full membership with the IFPA to enjoy their benefits.
If you do not meet the IFPA standard for membership or would like to add to your existing aroamtherapy knowledge, The Well School would like to welcome you to undertake our upgrade course.
You will join our student community as per all our diploma students, have access to our twice weekly lessons, engage in all the teaching, homework and case study work to ensure that you fill any gaps in knowledge and enjoy your experience of study while at our school.
Case studies will be treated via lotions, creams, massage oils in your massage/reflexology practise (if you hold these qualifications already) using our client consultation forms. This is an ideal way to learn about safe blending of essential oils, carrier oils and hydrolats for their therapeutic properties and to be able to use these wonderful oils effectively.
This course content is tailored to the needs of a therapist with existing aromatherapy knowledge (Level 3 Aromatherapy), for some applicants it may be appropriate and beneficial to attend part of our massage study days, this will be discussed at our interview.
An IFPA certificate of upgrade will be presented to successful candidates on completion of the exam.
