Hülya first approached me about bringing The Well School diploma to Türkiye. We could see that the way we teach clinical aromatherapy would sit well alongside the work she was already doing through Art de Huile.
Our students in Türkiye now study the same Professional Aromatherapy Diploma as our UK students, joining our live online teaching and learning through The Well School platform. Their practical massage training takes place in Türkiye with Art de Huile.
Hülya is a pharmacist, clinical aromatherapist, researcher and the founder of Art de Huile.
She graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Pharmacy before completing a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology at King’s College London and undertaking her Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma. Her work in Türkiye spans pharmacy, aromatherapy, phytotherapy, formulation and research.
Hülya has built a strong professional community around Art de Huile, particularly amongst pharmacists and professionals interested in the clinical use of aromatherapy. It was Hülya who invited The Well School to bring our diploma to Türkiye, and she remains at the heart of The Well School Türkiye.
Students in Türkiye study The Well School’s Professional Aromatherapy Diploma, following the same curriculum as our UK students.
Teaching combines our online course material with live lessons from The Well School, UK. Practical massage training takes place in Türkiye through our partnership with Art de Huile.
Throughout the diploma, students study essential oils, carrier oils and aromatic waters (hydrolats) alongside aroma chemistry, consultation, clinical formulation, massage and professional practice.
The Well School is an IFPA-accredited school and the diploma is delivered to IFPA educational standards. Professional and regulatory requirements vary between countries, so students should check the requirements that apply in the country where they intend to practice.
