The Well School came from our own experience of working as aromatherapists and teaching students. We wanted to teach aromatherapy in a way that brings together a good understanding of the science with plenty of practical experience, while giving students the space to ask questions, work with the oils and learn what it really means to treat someone as an individual.
Our diploma courses are accredited by IFPA and taught by tutors who continue to work with clients. Of course we want you to know your essential oils, but we also want you to understand why you’re choosing them, how to make good decisions for the person in front of you and to feel confident putting all of that knowledge into practice.
We are a dedicated teaching school led by a team of passionate aromatherapists, each actively working in private practice. We believe teaching should come from experience and that real-world clinical work brings authenticity and depth to every class.
Every teaching team member brings professional expertise, personal integrity, and a deep love of aromatherapy to the classroom.
We teach because we love aromatherapy and we see the difference it can make in our own treatment rooms. We also know that becoming a good aromatherapist takes more than learning a list of essential oils or following a set of techniques.
We want our students to understand what they’re doing and why. That means learning the science, getting plenty of practical experience and developing the confidence to make their own decisions when working with clients.
